Tim's devotions

We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

Isiah 53:6

All men run astray of the Lord at certain times of their lives. We believe that we can live entirely on our own ways. Having done it myself, I can share that it is such a lonely and hollow road for which there is no 'end in mind' and no satisfaction. The Lord loves us too much to allow us to remain in ourselves, He wants more for us. Just like an earthly father and son. Submit to the Lord our God for He knows our needs. He knows what is best for us. Trust in Him.

For all that I have experienced over the past 18 months, what I will always remember is the love of Jesus that He showed me through his disciples. The love of these men , showed me what true love is. He showed me to put aside myself and to put Him first. Lord, I will continue to keep you as my #1 priority.

Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me enough to allow me to fall and to pick me up and show my your beauty, your strength, your love. Forever I am changed, renewed in your spirit. I am willing to go farther, deeper in sharing your love with others. Please give me the strength and courage of knowing you and your love, enough to be able to be a living testimony for you for the rest of my living days.

Thank you Lord, thank you Jesus!
