S John 1: 1, 14
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.

14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[d] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.


O This is an amazing thing that we read about Jesus being the Word of God and becoming flesh. It is still hard for me to comprehend, I guess that is why God has made it simple for us in this baby in a manger that came to save the world.

A We must not forget the guest of honor during this season. This incomprehensible thing God has done for us in the gift of salvation through Jesus all started with the Word becoming flesh and we now celebrate his birth with gifts and feasts and coming together with family and friends. We must remember the guest of honor throughout the entire season and share this gift with others that do not know about it.
P Lord, help me to never forget you during these busy times. I get caught up with the earthly things during this time of year and let it drive me into losing focus. You are the reason why we celebrate Christmas and your gift needs to be shared. Give me the wisdom and grace to share the Good News with others during this time. I thank you for all the people you have blessed me with in my life. Bless them and shower them with Grace and Mercy. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
